Exhibit A:

So, unless he can take a speed course in taking pictures of his wife's expanding belly, he's fired. For now. If you're actually reading this, sorry babe. The hormones make me lose my filter. I don't mean what I say......
Baby size: Baby F is about the size of a lime, which is fun because limes are cute. And green. S/he is about 1.5 inches from head to rump. Soon, s/he'll be able to open and close its hands into fists. Tiny tooth buds are beginning to form and if its anything like it's momma and daddy, it will have good teeth. We have one cavity between the two of us and that's only because I had an obsession with Mountain Dew my first semester of college....
S/he is already kicking up a storm and stretching all over the place, but I probably won't feel that for another couple of months! The little babe is most likely hiccuping. I can't wait to feel that :)
How far along: 11 weeks
Total weight gain: I haven't weighed myself since my appointment over a week ago, so I'm hoping I haven't put on too much weight! Guess we'll find out when I go to the Dr. again on the 19th!
Sleep: The dreams are still out of control crazy. They are horrible and don't even involve a baby, thank God. For the past week, I have woken up at 4am on the dot. Then, it takes me about 1/2 hour to fall back asleep. I'm not loving that.
Maternity Clothes: Loving elastic pants!
Food cravings : None
Food aversions: I don't, luckily, have any aversions.
Symptoms: I am still very fatigued, but if I get a good night's sleep, that usually helps. My doctor said I should feel a lot more energy around 14 weeks! Other than that, the nausea and everything else has faded! I'm crossing my fingers that it stays away.
Exercise: I haven't had any energy to even contemplate it, but my Dr. did say that she's fine with me starting back! I'll probably take it easy with the elliptical and stationary bike. I'm always short of breath right now, so I just need to be careful not to over-exert myself. I need to do something though because I feel so much better if I work out!
Movement: No way - too early!
Gender: TEAM GREEN!
*side note - "TEAM GREEN" means we're not finding out the sex of the baby :)
Best moment of the week: Seeing a difference in my growing belly and knowing there's a baby in there. It's getting SUPER hard to hide. I have been getting some side-eyed looks this week despite my best efforts to wear sweaters that tie to cover it up. In fact, we had the big HR "Holiday" (God forbid you call it Christmas) party and an acquaintance actually said to me, "Do you have something under that sweater?". I was flabbergasted. I was with a lot of people who don't know and I quickly responded, "hahahah :::::nervous laugh::::: nah, just haven't had time to work out". WHO asks that question if you don't know for sure?? Seriously?!
What I'm looking forward to: We are telling most everybody this weekend/next week! It will feel so good to not "hide" it anymore although I'm still irrationally nervous. We are having our annual "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" tonight and I am telling my friends (don't worry, there will be pictures). Les is telling his work friends tomorrow. We will slowly tell people this weekend and hope we can keep it off of Facebook until Wednesday until we can make it official. You know, because it's not official until it's on Facebook ;)
